    Awards:

    1st Place: Coupe Mondiale Challenge Cup, Donated by the National Accordion Organisation of the UK & presented by Mr Raymond Bodell - NAO Chairman.
    Souvenir Trophy donated by Guildford Accordion Club and $1000 Prize money.
    2nd Place. Souvenir Trophy donated by Harlow Accordion Club and $500 Prize money.
    3rd Place: Souvenir Trophy donated by East Surrey Accordion Society and $300 Prize money.

    The Test Piece is available on request from both the CIA Secretary or this web site.
  • any Prelude and Fugue from the Well Tempered Clavier, Book I or II, by J.S. Bach
  • any Sonata by Domenico Scarlatti
    (Testpiece, Prelude and Fugue and Sonata must be played in one sitting and may be performed in any order)

2nd Section - Original Work - Coupe Mondiale, 2001
  • One original work for the accordion
3rd Section - Choice Program - Coupe Mondiale, 2001
  • Own choice program consisting of three (3) or more pieces of different styles and characters. Playing time: min. 20 minutes to max. 30 minutes
Prizes and Awards - Coupe Mondiale, 2001
  • All candidates shall receive a Diploma of participation
  • 1st: $1000.00, 2nd: $500.00, 3rd: $300.00
  • National member associations are requested to offer concerts or a tour for the 1st Prize Winners.
  • All winners must be present in person at the awards ceremony. In case of absence, their prize may be accepted by a delegate of their country. The diploma can only be mailed by the CIA Secretary.
