General Conditions:
The Coupe Mondiale is an International Competition for Accordion Soloists under the auspices of the Confederation International des Accordeonistes (C.I.A.) founded 1935 in Paris. The CIA is a member of the International Music Council (IMC-UNESCO).
General: The International Competition for Accordion Soloists 2001 (Coupe Mondiale) is open for soloists of all nationalities and of either sex.

Awards:
1st Place: Concert Tour to New Zealand/Australia to perform as Guest Artist at the2002 South Pacific Accordion Championships in Auckland, New Zealand and at the 2002 Australian International Accordion Championships in Sydney, Australia.

2nd Place: Souvenir Trophy donated by Accordions of Coventry and $500 Prize money.

2001 International Piano Accordion Competition
  • There is no limit of numbers of candidates from each country.

  • Candidates up to 32 years of age are allowed to enter the competition. (Year of birth: born in 1969 or later)

The Required Program
2001 International Piano Accordion Competition
  • Own choice program consisting of at least three pieces of different styles and character and composer.

  • Competitors must present themselves as artists to an audience; presentation, dress and stage-craft all being important.

  • Playing time: 15 minutes minimum and 20 minutes maximum

International Piano Accordion Competition 2001
  • International Concert Tour. 1st: All travel and accomodation expenses from anywhere in the world to perform as Guest Artist at the South Pacific Accordion Championships in Auckland, New Zealand and at the Australian International Accordion Championships in Sydney, May 2002. Other sponsored concerts to be announced.
  • 2nd: $500.00, 3rd: $250.00
  • All candidates shall receive a Diploma of participation.

  • National member associations are requested to offer concerts or a tour for the 1st Prize Winners.

  • All winners must be present in person at the awards ceremony. In case of absence, their prize may be accepted by a delegate of their country.

  • The diploma can only be mailed by the CIA Secretary.

Preise und Ehrungen: Internationale Konzert Tour. Alle Reise und Unterhaltskosten von einem Ort in der Welt in den Südpazifik um als Gastkünstler bei den Südpazifischen Akkordeon Meisterschaften in Auckland, Neuseeland and bei de Australischen internationalen Akkordeon Championship in Sydney, Mai 2002 teilzunehmen. Andere gesponserte Konzerte werden angekündigt werden. Alle Teilnehmer werden eine Teilnahmeurkunde erhalten. Nationale Mitglieder Assoziativen werden gebeten dem Gewinner des 1. No hay limite del número de candidatos de cada ciudad. Candidatos de hasta 32 años de edad son elegibles en esta competición (Fecha de nacimiento: Nacido en 1969 o despues). La fecha de cierre es el 15 de agosto del 2001.
Programa requerido Un propio programa de libre elección consistende de por lo menos tres piezas de diferentes estilos y caracter y compositor. Los competidores deben presentarse como artistas a una audiencia, presentación, vestido y material relacionado a escenario como importante. Tiempo de tocar: 15 minutos mínimo y máximo 20 minutos.
Premios: Concierto internacional tour. Todos los gastos pagados asi como alojamiento de cualquier parte del mundo para tocar como artista invitado en el campoenato de acordeón del pacifico sur en Auckland, Nueva Zelandia y en el campeonato de acordeón internacional de Australia en Sydney, Mayo del 2002. Otros conciertos auspiciados serán anunciados. Todos los candidatos recibirán un diploma de participación. Asociaciones de Miembros nacionales tienen que ofrecer conciertos o un tour para los ganadores del primer lugar. Todos los ganadores deben estar presentes en persona en la ceremonia de premiación. En caso de ausencia, el premio puede ser aceptado por un delegado de su pais. El diploma puede ser enviado por la secretaría general de la CIA.

Altri concerti da definirsi. Tutti i candidati riceveranno un diploma di partecipazione. Le associazioni nazionali dei membri saranno chiamate a offrire tournée ai vincitori del primo premio. Questi ultimi dovranno partecipare di persona alla cerimonia di premiazione. In caso ciò non sia possibile, il premio potrà essere ritirato da un delegato del loro Paese.
