    1st Place: Souvenir Trophy donated by Accordion Profile Magazine and $700 Prize money.
    2nd Place: Souvenir Trophy donated by Sheffield Juniors and $300 Prize money.
    3rd Place: Souvenir Trophy donated by Frederick Parnell and $150 Prize money.

The Required Program - Junior Coupe Mondiale, 2001

1st Section - Testpiece - Junior Coupe Mondiale, 2001
  • One original work for the accordion
  • One Baroque work written for harpsichord/clavichord
    (These two works must be played in one sitting)
2nd Section - Choice Program - Junior Coupe Mondiale, 2001
  • Two (2) pieces must be played which must include one original work for accordion. Individual movements from cyclic works are acceptable.
    Playing time: minimum 10 minutes to maximum 15 minutes
  • The winner of Junior Coupe Mondiale, is not allowed to compete in this category in subsequent years.
  • There are to be only two (2) pieces performed in each round.
Prizes and Awards - Junior Coupe Mondiale, 2001
  • All candidates shall receive a Diploma of participation
  • 1st: $700.00, 2nd: $300.00, 3rd: $150.00
  • National member associations are requested to offer concerts or a tour for the 1st Prize Winners.
  • All winners must be present in person at the awards ceremony. In case of absence, their prize may be accepted by a delegate of their country. The diploma can only be mailed by the CIA Secretary.
