General Introduction This superb festival is a regular and highly diverse six-day event held every year shortly after midsummer. It provides an opportunity to enjoy the finest accordion music in the most beautiful surroundings. The individual performers and orchestras are always of the highest quality. Famous vocal artists are also featured in the programme. Rest assured that this event is a good cut above nearly all of its competitors in the world of accordion music. Accordion competitions are an essential part of the festival programme. This year the 1st Primus Ikaalinen International Accordion Competition will be held on the 1st of July. The genre of the new competition is varietee music and the chairman of the jury is Mr. Richard Galliano. Ticket prices range from € 8 to € 25. Several events are free of charge. |
| Tickets Tickets are available at www.satahamesoi.fi. They will be sent by post. A post and packaging charge of € 4 per order will be charged. Tickets are also available from the Festival Office at the mentioned address/ phone number. Tickets will also be available at each concert venue one hour before the start of the event. Tickets cannot be redeemed or changed. For groups, every 16th ticket will be free of charge. For children aged between 5 and 12 years old the tickets are half the price. In the Ikaalinen Hall the seats are numbered. Elsewhere seating is free. All rights reserved. |
