Order Of The Secret Monitor in the Province of Middlesex

The Brotherhood of David and Jonathan, or the Order of the Secret Monitor (more familiarly the “OSM”) as it is known, is one of the fastest growing Masonic Orders in the United Kingdom and the only qualification for membership is that of being a Master Mason in good standing.

Middlesex is one of the many Provinces in the Order, serving the needs of Freemasons in the county and surrounding areas. The “Lodges” are known as Conclaves and Middlesex currently has five, each meeting at a different centre around the Province. For more information, please contact our Provincial Grand Recorder.

The Ritual is moving and unusual and any Mason not currently a member will receive a warm welcome into the Order.

The ceremonies are based on the Biblical story of the remarkable friendship which existed between David and Jonathan which can be found in the Book of Samuel Chapters 20, 22 & 23.
