Gerald Crossman was one of the most significant figures in the post-war UK accordion scene. He was a highly accomplished accordionist, pianist, organist, bandleader, composer, arranger, writer, and a Vice President of the National Accordion Organisation of the United Kingdom (NAO). When he died in 2015 he had no living relatives, and his unpublished accordion compositions and arrangements were sent to Rob Howard. His orchestral works were sent to the Light Music Society.
