Listen to the red melodies and celebrate the centenary.

Accordion, as one of the representative musical instruments of "red culture", has a familiar red mass foundation. Teachers and students of Shanghai Normal University Accordion Orchestra held a special concert of Chinese accordion works to honor the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. They created a sincere tribute to the centenary and named the concert theme as "Why Flowers Are So Red".

The concert integrates solo, ensemble, accompaniment and other performance forms of accordion, and arranged the content into four parts: the red memory on the screen and the revolutionary passion in the drama, so that the audience can pursue the red time in the melody on the screen and the drama, and create and adapt them, reflecting the red inheritance of our young college students in the new times.

Highlights of the concert:

This concert not only included classic tradition red songs. Tan Jialiang, the famous young accordionist, vice president of Shenzhen Accordion Association, vice president of Bao'an District Musicians Association, and member of Bao'an Shiyan Public School was invited to specially adapt the accordion ensemble version of "China in the lights" for the orchestra.

Similarly, we also asked Professor Zhang Xinhua, vice president of Inner Mongolia Musicians Association and President of Inner Mongolia Keyboard Music Association, to write and adapt "Surprisingly Cross Chi River for Four Times" for the orchestra. Both of these very famous works were successfully premiered during the concert.
