Alejandro Brittes and João GentilThere are many accordion ensembles and soloists confirming their participation in the second ‘Mundial de Músicas de Acordeón’, taking place in Valledupar, Colombia, from June 23rd to 26th. The latest to accept invitations, making their debuts, are Alejandro Brittes, from Argentina, and João Gentil, from Portugal.

The Mundial de Músicas de Acordeón, whose Director is Lolita Acosta, is a festival that includes concerts, contests and dance events, showcasing national and international folk music traditions from such countries as Argentina, Uruguay, Portugal and the Czech Republic.
