Tracey Collins Live CD Recording – New Zealand

Tracey Collins posterPopular New Zealand accordionist Tracey Collins who was featured twice at the 2009 Coupe Mondiale in North Shore City, New Zealand has just made a live CD recording.

She wrote: “I had Oliver Hammond (double bass) and Ron Sampson (drums) accompanying me thorough out the whole performance. We also had special guests - Edwina Thorne (trumpet), Monica Louis (French vocals) and Ilse Van Wyk (violin) for a few tracks.

The album comprises of a mixture of French classics with a twist of Latin. The concert was a live recording, so it was quite a challenge to stop the audience from singing and clapping throughout the songs, but we managed to pull it off!

There are even some songs with audience participation. I will keep you posted with the CD's progress- when it will be completely ready for sale.”
