XXVIII International Moscow Festival "Bayan and Bayanists" – Russia

Friedrich Lips and Alexander Gataullin
XXVIII InternationalArtistic director Friedrich Lips together with organizer Alexander Gataullin are welcoming all to the XXVIII International Festival “Bayan and Bayanists” taking place in the concert hall of the Russian Gnesin Academy of Music in Moscow from December 14 to 18, 2016.

Thanks to the support of the federal agency of culture, Russian Gnesin Academy of Music and the Friedrich Lips Fund, since its very beginning back in 1989, the festival has always been a place where young talents together with already recognized masters were on stage.

One could listen to new compositions and interpretations of pieces already known; works for solo, chamber music and orchestra also being performed. The musical range is always very broad from classical to jazz, from popular music to avant-garde.
