Roland have confirmed their sponsorship of the Coupe Mondiale Digital Accordion Competition, part of the 2016 Coupe Mondiale World Accordion Championships & Festival, to be held in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, 11th - 17th September. Roland is a leading manufacturer of electronic musical instruments, including the V-Accordion, the world’s first digital modeling accordion. Roland has worked together with the CIA, organisers of the Coupe Mondiale, since the introduction of the Coupe Mondiale International Digital Accordion category in 2009. Teachers with suitable level students, are encouraged to make full use of the exciting creative possibilities that the artistically very free Coupe Mondiale rules allow for this category.
