The
CIA Delegates and guests were invited to participate on the annual Finnish Accordion
Association Cruise from Finland to Sweden and back.
Joining 2,600 other
accordionists of all ages from all over Finland, delegates and guests enjoyed
nonstop activities including accordion music of many styles such as Finnish Folk
Music and dancing, Cajun, Tex Mex, Jazz, accordion orchestras and ensembles, trade
show displays of instruments, recordings and music and an accordion competition. |
General
Assembly Meeting |
The
CIA conducted its final session of the 115th General Assembly on board the Silja
Europa in the modern conference facilities during the overnight cruise.

Concert |
The
opening Concert at the Moulin Rouge Theatre featured artists Elias Ukkonen, Kaisa
Kujanpää,
Anne-Mari Kanniainen all from Finland and visiting guest artist from Russia, Alexander
Shirunov.
