Opening Ceremony Concert |
We had an early dinner and went by bus to the Harbin
Childrens Palace for the Opening Ceremony Concert of the 2010 Harbin
Summer International Accordion Art Week. Childrens Palace in most
cities in China are a place for arts and performance education of
talented young people of school age.

official opening speech at the Opening Ceremony Concert was made by
Zhang Xianyou, the Vice President of the Organizing Committee of the
International Accordion Art Week who is also Deputy Mayor of the Harbin
People's Government.

from Harbin Normal University Music College, conducted by Tao Yabing,
of the Music Faculty and Xu Guoqi on accordion.

with the symphony orchestra.
