Kathryn Fletcher

Kathryn is the first accordionist ever to be accepted at a New Zealand University with the accordion as a performance instrument. As such, she is currently in her 4th year at Auckland University, where is she is majoring in psychology and music.

Kathryn was a member of the 1996 Air New Zealand Accordion Orchestra and has competed with success at local, New Zealand and Australian competitions. She also teaches part time at the Music Education Centre. She also plays in an Irish band (accordion and drums).

In her sparetime, you'll find Kathryn snowboarding, play the drums, or as a yoga freak trying to put her legs behind her head.
