Accordionists Entertain at Milwaukee Irish Fest - USAby Christine Johnstone |

  The Milwaukee Irish Fest will be held at the 75 acre Henry Maier Festival Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from August 15th to 18th, 2024.The event will feature over 100 acts across 16 stages. “From traditional Irish to indie-rock there's musical entertainment for everyone at the Milwaukee Irish Fest!” Accordion performances as follows: • Drops of Green (picture above left, which features accordionist Sean Kearney) will perform at the Lakefront Brewery Stage at 6.15pm on August 15th. • Goitse (picture above right) will perform at the Parkview Senior Living Community Stage at 8pm on August 16th. • Leahys Luck (picture below, which features accordionist Stas Venglevski) will perform at the Parkview Senior Living Community Stage at 1.30pm on August 17th. • Providence Ceili band will perform at the Dance Pavillion from 12 midday on August 18th. • Concertina Circle: Mary MacNamara(County Clare), Mohsen Amini (from the group Talisk – Scotland), and Lexie Boatright (USA), will perform at the Village Pub Stage at 4.30pm on August 18th. "O’Jizo", a trio of multi-instrumentalists from Tokyo, Japan featuring accordionist Hirofumi Nakamura will perform the following concerts: • August 15th at 7.15pm at the Lakefront Brewery Stage • August 16th at 7.15pm at the Celtic Roots Stage sponsored by Catholic Financial Life • August 17th at 3.30pm at the Celtic Roots Stage sponsored by Catholic Financial Life • August 18th at 4.30pm at the Celtic Roots Stage sponsored by Catholic Financial Life "Steam" Irish quartet featuring accordionist John Williams will perform daily at the Dance Pavilion as follows: • August 16th at 5pm • August 17th at 3.15pm • August 18th at 2.30pm "Talisk" will perform daily at the Cider Boys Stage as follows: • August 16th at 6.15pm • August 17th at 8pm • August 18th at 2.30pm "The Byrne Brothers" will perform daily at the Miller Lite Stage as follows: • August 16th at 6pm • August 17th at 2pm • August 18th at 6.15pm For further information email: info@irishfest.com |
