Bavarian Evening raises £1655 for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, West Midlands – UKby Rob Howard |

| On Friday November 23rd the Barry Schmidt Bavarian Band performed a concert of music, audience participation and much hilarity at the Brook St Community Centre, Tipton, in aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital. The total raised was an excellent £1655. The bandleader is accordionist Barry Smith, organizer of the annual Midland Accordion Festival at The Quality Hotel in Dudley. He is also the editor of the bi-monthly magazine ‘Accordion Post’, and the organiser of the Black Country Accordion Club. For further information email: accordions2010@hotmail.co.uk |
