‘Tribute to Piazzolla’ Concert, Wroclaw – Polandby Rob Howard |
 Guitarist Anna Pietrzak and accordionist Olek Miskiewicz perform a ‘Tribute to Piazzolla’ concert on Sunday September 15th, 7pm at Stara Gielda, pl. Solny 16, Wroclaw, Poland.Anna Pietrzak is the winner of national and international guitar competitions. She graduated from Wroclaw Music Academy and the Music Conservatoire in Piraeus, Greece. She is an outstanding soloist but also often performs with chamber ensembles and collaborates with other musicians, which is reflected in the very “Tribute to Astor Piazzolla”. Olek Miskiewicz is a student at Wroclaw Music Academy. As a soloist he has won the first prizes in accordion competitions in Wroclaw, Dresden, Rybnik and Luban. Together with the band Cooltic he won the XIX National Song Festival ‘Wybryk’ in Wroclaw. He is also a highly-regarded pianist, arranger and accompanist.
