Summer Isles Festival, Scotland – UKby Rob Howard |
 Organised by accordionist Mairearad Green, the second Summer Isles Festival takes place on Saturday August 31st in the Coigach Community Hall, Aichiltibuie, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland. Headline acts include Shooglenifty, The Poozies - four powerful voices with guitar, fiddle and accordion, Gaelic singer James Graham and energetic young dance band, Donald MacDonald and the Islands.Building on the success of last year’s festival the event will follow the same format with music workshops in in the morning, art workshops led by An Talla Solais throughout the day, alongside fantastic cookery demonstrations using local produce, all day music sessions, and an evening concert and ceilidh.
