 French accordion virtuoso Richard Galliano has the following forthcoming concerts:November 29th – solo recital, Brescia, Italy December 2nd – benefit concert, Toulouse, France December 6th – Tangaria Quartet concert, Martigues, France December 15th – Piazzolla, Satie, Taiwanese folk songs concert, Taipei, Taiwan Richard Galliano (born 1950) studied at the Academy of Music in Nice, and after winning the Junior and Senior CMA Trophee Mondiale in 1966 and 67, embarked on a highly successful professional career, with a special interest in playing jazz. Over the years Galliano has worked and recorded with Juliette Greco, Charles Aznavour, Chet Baker, Bireli Lagrene, Wynton Marsalis, Toots Thielmans, and many more.
