Hungarian accordionist Zoltan Orosz performed concerts at the Khalsa College, a public school, and at the Indian Academy of Fine Arts, in Amtrizar. The concerts were arranged by the Hungarian Embassy as part of a cultural exchange and Zoltans' program of Hungarian and Russian folk tunes and Oriental music was greatly appreciated Zoltan Orosz began playing the accordion at the age of 4, and at 11 attended the Bartók Béla Music Secondary School in Budapest, followed by studies at the Liszt Ferenc TeacherTraining University. He won the Hungarian National Accordion Competition in 1998, 1999 and 2000, and has since pursued a successful international career. CD's available online at: Zoltan Orosz |
