‘Bayan Mix’ in New TV Drama Series – Russiaby Harley Jones |

 The duo ‘Bayan Mix’, Sergey Voytenko and Dmitriy Khramkov, have been closely involved in the production of ‘Brother and Sister’, a TV drama to be shown on Russian TV in September. Sergey Voytenko wrote most of the music, and both he Dmitriy Khramkov have acting roles as accordionists and strippers!"Before writing the music I studied several film series”, said Sergey Voytenko, “then I began to search for ideas to create the musical background. As a result, six songs were born. Some of them will be played by the duo ‘Bayan Mix’ at concerts. Besides the soundtracks written especially for the series there is a duet of the well-known piece ‘Sentimentos’ included. Sergey Voytenko has previous experience of working as a film actor. In 2007 he starred in the film ‘Carnival Night 2’, by Eldar Ryazanov. Dmitriy Khramkov will be on screen for the first time. ‘Brother and Sister’, directed by Alexander Baranov, will be broadcast on TV in September 2011.
