  May 6th is World Accordion Day and Accordions Worldwide is keen to promote events that celebrate the official advent of our favourite instrument. It was on May 6th 1829 that Cyrillius Demien (Cyril Damian) patented his first accordion design in Vienna, Austria, sparking off what became a global craze for this wonderful and incredibly versatile instrument.This week’s news includes some of the many events we know are happening.
