 A new Guiness World Record was achieved at the 2017 China Shenzhen Bao'an International Accordion Art Festival in Shenzhen, a relatively new city in Southern China close to Hong Kong and Guangzhou (Canton).On the 24th July, exactly 2,260 accordionists formed an enormous ensemble under dual conductors, Prof. Li Cong (President, China Accordion Assoc.) and Tong Jianhua (President, Shenzhen Accordion Assoc.). This huge ensemble performed 'The Story of the Spring" composed by Jiang Kai Ru which has been a national hit in China. See the video.
