‘Awards for Young Musicians’ (AYM), London – UKby Rob Howard |
‘Awards for Young Musicians’ (AYM) is introducing a project on March 30th, organised by Hester Cockcroft and led by Ksenija Sidorova (picture right), for around 10 talented young accordionists up to the age of 18 years. This will be a master class and a public performance led by Ksenija Sidorova. AYM aims to assist young people with exceptional musical potential from lower income families, to overcome the barriers they face and having their potential identified and supported. The plan for the day is as follows: - Ksenija will lead a master class at the Royal Academy of Music, Sunday 30 March 30th, 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. - Afternoon public performance (of approximately 30 minutes) in a central London location, possibly at Kings Cross Railway Station.
