3rd Accordion Art Festival and Contests, Mosciano - Italyby Renzo Ruggieri |
 The 3rd edition of 'Accordion Art Festival will take place this year on the 20/21 June 2009 in the town of Mosciano SA (TE, Italy ) and will see as artistic director Renzo Ruggieri and Claudio Azzaro as president.Amongst the invited international concert guests: Ludovic Beier (jazz) Massimiliano Pitocco (classical) Antonio Spaccarotella (variete). Novelties of this year are three different competitions: "ORPHEUS" INTERNATIONAL AWARD an award similar to the OSCAR Film Award with several nominations and the winner for the best live performances in classical, jazz, varietée and best Italian CD being acclaimed during the final evening gala. The juries will be composed of prestigious music critics. "ITALIAN" NATIONAL AWARD This is a competition with the traditional purpose of encouraging the study of music and with different sections: Accordion, Organ, Keyboards, Singing, Guitar and special sections such as Youtube Video, Groups, Membership, Electronic Accordion, etc. SELECTION of the C.M.A. NATIONAL TROPHY WORLD National selection for competitors who will participate at the next World Cup to be held in September 2009 in Portugal (Albufeira).
