 On Saturday 28th March 2009, 7.30 pm a solo concert with Friedrich Lips will take place in the Pfarrsaal Mülln, Augustinergasse 4, 5020 Salzburg, organised by Akkorde-On-Stage.Friedrich Lips is probably the most requested Russian accordionist, known not only in the accordion world, but also in the field of classical music. For more than 30 years, he has performed around the world achieving outstanding recognition as a renowned artist of his instrument. In the accordion world Friedrich Lips is also known for his book "The Art of Bayan Playing" available online at where he explained and demonstrats performance techniques / possibilities of the accordion. Friedrich Lips invented and developed techniques that made fundamental changes to the accordion scene, an example being the "Ricochet".
