 On March 19th, accordionist and composer Nihad Hrustanbegovic at the Paradiso, Amsterdam, performed an accordion solo in an artistic designed concert with famous vocalist/actor Grace Jones - ‘I’ve Seen That Face Before’.The scene starts with a completely dark stage, with one spotlight pointed at Nihad. Grace Jones appears suddenly out of the dark. She caresses his head and says: “You’re afraid boy? I’m not going to hurt you!” Nihad then seizes his accordion more firmly and answers decisively: “No, I’m not!” Grace Jones stands by him, her long famous legs on a turn table, gripping the climbing pole and starting to sing ‘I’ve Seen That Face Before’ as if only for Nihad, who raises his eyes to her, surrenders and caresses his accordion with his music. Face Before Video Link Her sensual, elegantly moving gleaming legs and Nihad’s fast moving fingers over the accordion keys, are all that is lit in this game of temptation. Grace Jones, her sultry, deep, low voice and the emotional loaded sounds of Nihad’s accordion, provoke euphoric acclaim from the audience. |
