 The quintet Black Pencil, from The Netherlands, perform their new music suite, Pulso Llanero, in Galway and Dublin in early February. Pulso Llanero is based on the traditional folk music of Venezuela and Colombia, and includes two world premieres of pieces by Mirtru Escalona-Mijares and René Uijlenhoet.February 1st, 1pm - The Cube, Galway February 2nd, 8pm - Aula Maxima, Galway February 4th – details to be announced, Dublin February 5th - details to be announced, Dublin Black Pencil will soon be traveling to perform in Mexico, Venezuela, Cuba and China.
