Mirco Patarini and  Antonio Spaccarotella Concert, Bahia  - Brazil

Brazil montage
There was enthusiasm and appreciation for the remarkable performance by visiting Italian accordionists Antonio Spaccarotella and Mirco Patarini during their evening concerts at the 2nd International Festival  Sanfona in Bahia, Brazil, November 8th to 14th.

This second edition of the festival, considered to be the most important accordion event in Brazil, was attended by the finest accordion players from the country plus international stars.

The artists included Renato Borghetti, Mirco Patarini, Oswaldinho, Frank Marocco, Anthony Spaccarotella, Hermeto Pascoal, Targino Gondim, and Dominguinhos. The festival finished with concerts in Juazeiro and Petrolina -  two fantastic cities in the region of Bahia,  where more than 3,000 people had the pleasure to listen to jazz, classical, modern, pop, and tango.

Congratulations to the two Italians by artistic director of the festival, and the festival organizing team. Mirco Patarini, well known for his excellent repertoire of classical accordion, has won numerous competitions and has performed in concert many times previously in Brazil, where he has earned a distinguished reputation.

Antonio Spaccarotella debuted for the first time in Brazil this year, but from the first concert he was acclaimed by the large audience. Antonio closed the concert with his new composition, ‘Tango Saudade’, composed during his stay in Brazil and in honor of the festival.
