 The new CD, ‘Kume’, the first recording by the band of the same name, of Calabrian origin, has been released. The band members are Paolo Presta (accordion), Daniele Nicoletti (bass), Giacinto Maiorca (drums), all students of the jazz class at the ‘Stanislaus Giacomantonio’ Conservatory in Cosenza. In 2012 the band participated in the National Award of Arts festival ‘Improvisations’ and were placed third, receiving a special mention for the originality of their project. Their music ranges from ethnic melodies, groove rock, Latin beats, to the nuances of jazz, which characterizes their until now unreleased songs.
