 The Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) Coupe Mondiale entry system and hotel bookings is now live for the event being hosted and organized by the CIA member from Italy, the Italian Accordion Culture (IAC). Entries close on July 15, 2012.CIA President Raymond Bodell and Mirco Patarini (Artistic Director IAC) warmly welcome guests, competitors and supporters to the 65th Coupe Mondiale (2012) and the 128th CIA International General Assembly of Delegates Congress in Spoleto, Italy, 21-25 August 2012. The Coupe Mondiale was last held in Italy in 1950 (Milan) and again in 1961 (Pallanza) and now after some 51 years of absence, as the event has taken place in 25 different countries around the world, the CIA is excited to return once again the Coupe Mondiale competitions to Italy. All categories and rules are on the Coupe Mondiale website for the 8 categories of competitions: 65th Coupe Mondiale, Master Coupe Mondiale, Junior Coupe Mondiale, Senior and Junior Virtuoso Entertainment, Ensemble and Digital Accordon categories.
