Concert to Remember Distinguished Musicians, Honors Bio Boccosi - Italyby Alessandro Mugnoz |

 On the 24th November at the il Teatro Sperimentale “L. Arena” di Ancona (via Redipuglia, 59) is the concert organized by the new association C.D.M.I. (Centro Didattico Musicale Italiano). The concert is dedicated to remember the musician Bio Boccosi of Ancona, on the centenary of his birth.The purpose of the event is twofold: to promote the talents, especially of young people and to promote the historical memory of music. Bio Boccosi is a already an honorary citizen of several cities (Ancona, Osimo, Castelfidardo, S. Maria Nuova and Recoaro Terme) because of his multi-faceted activities: teacher, pianist, conductor, composer, publisher, journalist and music operator who contributed significantly to the evolution of musical culture (and in particular accordion) on a national and international level. Performing will be young musicians - pianists, accordionists and ensembles plus guests: Mariella Guazzaroni, Claudia Menghi and the group Concertino “Burro e Salvia”.
