First International Competition for Accordionists “Vivakordeon” – Bulgariaby Christine Johnstone |

 The First International Competition for accordionists “Vivakordeon” will be held in the halls of the Bulgaria Concert Complex, 1 Aksakov Street, Sofia from April 5th to 7th.The event, which is founded by Daniela Dikova with Bulgarian accordionist Krassimir Sterev (both from the Ardenza Foundation), is for amateur accordionists and accordionists with professional orientation up to the age of 19 and aims to encourage all those whose dedication to the accordion is an expression of their love for music making. The international jury will comprise of well-known musical pedagogues from various countries and will award the Grand Prize of the “Vivakordeon”. The winner will be invited to perform at the Vivapiano Gala concert which will be held on April 7th. Applications close on 20th March 2019.
