| Video: Results of the 15th Annual Big Squeeze accordion contest presented by Texas Folklife, with performances by the 2020 champions, Grammy-Winner Chubby Carrier, and the announcement of the 2021 champions. The final round of the 15th Annual Big Squeeze Accordion Contest presented by Texas Folklife, was held online on May 8th, 2021. The 2021 Grand Prize champions were announced live at this virtual event and 2020 Champions Bridget Roberts, Isaak Klaus, Jorge Ramirez & Jose Angel Torres all gave brief performances. This was followed by a performance by Grammy-winning Zydeco legend, Chubby Carrier. The video above then includes the announcement of the 2021 Champions! |
