Angelica Bargou Passes Peacefully, Virginia - USAby Harley Jones |

 Picture above: Faithe Deffner, Pietro 'Lee' Diero, Elsie Bennett and An BargouPicture left: Faithe Deffner, Joan Sommers and An Bargou Around 1960, Angelica Bargou became a trusted life-long friend to the Deffner family and for the next 50 years travelled extensively with Faithe Deffner to accordion events all over the USA and the globe. Angelica was widely known in the accordion world and being quite a personality, was well liked and had many accordion friends. Angelica had recently contracted cancer and became unable to walk, so at 88 years of age she needed care. An's friend Evelyn, in Virginia Beach visited regularly and told An's German family, that An was at peace when she died. An had told me in a very nice phone conversation recently, that she was "ready", and had enjoyed a "great life".
