World Accordion Day, Quetzaltenango – Guatemalaby Rob Howard |
| To celebrate World Accordion Day, May 6th, an accordion festival will take place in the city of Quetzaltenango, sponsored by Alliance Francaise. Approximately 30 amateur and professional accordionists will perform in concerts, there will be talks on the history of the accordion, and there will be contests.
