AperiPIF Daily Concerts at PIF Academy - Italyby Holda Paoletti-Kampl |
AperiPIF (aperitif concerts) will be held at midday each day of the PIF Festival (19th to 22nd September) at the Auditorium Binci in Castelfidardo. These concerts will be followed by food and drink refreshments. This year the AperiPIF will have the theme “Promises” with four international classical accordion performances. The festival is deeply involved in the promotion of the instrument and as such establishes a series of collaborations with many international festivals that host the annual winner of the PIF and in turn they send their "champions" to the PIF stage. Guests of this year's AperiPIF will be: September 19th: Luka Silic (Serbia) - a very young student of Vladimir Mandic (Conservatorio of Kragujevac, Serbia), winner of the award concert in collaboration with the "International Festival of Accordion Artists" sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of Serbia and the Municipality Kragujevac. September 20th: Artem Malhasyan (Russia) - a student of Vladimir Orlov (St. Petersburg Conservatory), winner of the award concert in collaboration with the "Accordéon-nous.org" festival (Mons, Belgium) with the direction of Olivier Douyez. September 21st: Bartosz Kolsut (Poland) – a student of Mie Miki ("Folkwang Universitatder der K'nste", Essen, Germany), winner of the award concert in collaboration with the festival "XXI International Accordion Festival – Vilnius 2018" (Lithuania) with the artistic direction of Raimondas Sviackevicius .
