Radu Ratoi Wins Royal Danish Academy of Music Competition - Denmarkby Christine Johnstone |
  Radu Ratoi (pictured above) has won the Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium (DKDM - Royal Danish Academy of Music) solo competition held this week in Frederiksberg, Denmark.His teacher, Geir Draugsvoll congratulated him and the other finalists Johanna Nylund (soprano), Cansin Kara (cello) and Kendzsi Tanaka (piano). Radu Ratoi will perform his winning piece, Ole Schmidt's Symphonic Fantasy and Allegro at a concert with the DKDM Symphony Orchestra in the Conservatory’s Concert Hall on June 18th at 7.30pm. |
