Alexander Tchuev performed works for bandonion and orchestra by Astor Piazzolla to great acclaim. Also taking part was his student Maria Dafka (11 years old) – five times winner of age categories at international accordion competitions in Italy, Serbia, Bulgaria and Poland. Maria played the ‘Gay Picador’ by Pietro Frosini, receiving long and loud applause from the audience.
