The XXV Gala Internacional de Acordeão will take place on the 17th of April, by 15h30 in the Ballroom of the Recreational Society of St. Michael Baron, in Vila do Bispo. The Gala international show is organized by the Municipality of Vila do Bispo. Performing are national artists: Rodrigo Mauricio Jorge Alves, Pedro Gonçalves and Francisco Saboia. International artists include four world champions: Pietro Adragna (Italy), Julien Gonzales and Eric Bouvelle (France) and Petar Maric (Serbia). This cultural and traditional nature event will as in previous galas, present the biggest names in the world in the art of playing the accordion, providing the public the sounds of one of the most characteristic and traditional instruments of the Algarve musical culture, the accordion.
