New CD by Mika Väyrynen and Angel Luis Castaño - Finlandby Kimmo Mattila |
 A new CD by Mika Väyrynen (Finland) and Angel Luis Castaño (Spain) has been released. The Finnish Accordion Institute in Ikaalinen has published this special international publication available online at: Finland RecordingsBoth Väyrynen and Castaño are world known soloists, each with many solo recordings and its most exciting to have these artists combined talents to produce a CD of works for accordion duo only. J.S. Bach: Toccata in F major BWV 540 by J.S.Bach, Concerto in A minor BWV593 by J.S.Bach-A.Vivaldi and Adagio by Samuel Barber are transcriptions of the famous baroque and classical pieces. The Ballad by Torbjörn Lundquist, Duo by Harri Wessman as well as Tarantella by Vaclav Trojan are excellent original duos from 1960's and 1980's. The final piece on the disc is Divagación y Tango by a Spanish composer Julio Oscar Pane. Track list: 1. J.S. Bach (1685–1750): Toccata in F major BWV 540 2.
