 The Fine Arts Quartet is one of the most famous USA quartets, founded in 1946, and they have invited Friedrich Lips to join them in concert at London Kings Place, 22nd November, 6:30pm.Friedrich Lips and the Fine Arts Quartet will be performing the Efrem Podgats work Quintet for Strings and Accordéon that was composed in 2002. The Fine Arts Quartet of Ralph Evans (violin), Efim Boico (violin), Juan-Miguel Hernandez (viola), Robert Cohen (cello) is well known for promoting contemporary music through performances and commissions and has a history of many USA premieres to their credit. Lips is one of the worlds' most famous accordionists and he has released some 28 recordings that are online at: Friedrich Lips |
