 Accordionist Nihad Hrustanbegovic performs a solo concert on Saturday, June 14th, 8.30pm, at the Tolhuistuin Concert Hall, Amsterdam. His performance includes the world premiere of his composition, ‘Amsterdam Anno 2014’, which is intended to be “a cosmopolitan musical journey through the city of Amsterdam in 90 minutes”.The work is making use of all the sounds of the accordion and the dimensions of music - classical, pop, world music, jazz, contemporary, cross-over and improvisation. ‘Amsterdam Anno 2014’ is an ode to the city, its inhabitants, and the Tolhuistuin. |
