 Finnish accordionist Mika Väyrynen has released Volume 1 of an all Bach series highlighting some of the composer’s most famous works.Released on October 15th, the CD features Bach's ‘Praeludium XXIV in B minor’ (BWV 869), the ‘French Suites No. 1 in D minor’ (BWV 812), ‘No 2 in C minor’ (BWV 813) and ‘No. 3 in B minor’ (BWV 814), and the ‘Passacaglia and Fugue in C minor’ (BWV 582), with a combined playing time of 64.52. Mika Väyrynen has now recorded his 18th CD and this all Bach CD is released under the ALBA label with the catalog number of ABCD 346 and is available online at http://www.alba.fi/ In addition to his teaching at the famed Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Mika also travels extensively presenting master classes, seminars and workshops at major conservatories, music schools and festivals in many countries.
