  The Kokkola Winter Accordion Festival has been selected to receive the European Festivals Association (EFFE) Approval 2017-2018. The festival application was approved by their International Jury following a successful evaluation by EEFE experts.Picture left: Raimo Vertainen (Festival Director) and Darko Brlek, President EFA. The festival received the following feedback: The festival has been dedicated nearly 20 years solely for one instrument, accordion. This is a very sympathetic local festival with many-sided and diverse artistic program of high standard. Your festival will soon appear on the EFFE website, and we plan a broad communication and marketing campaign about the 2018 Kokkola Winter Accordion Festival.
