 In June the two-phase competition for solo accordion and chamber music took place in Baden-Baden. The big national competition of the German Accordion Music Prize took place for the 11th time, organised by the German Harmonica Association in connection with the accordion teacher association. Furthermore, there were cultural events including the medal award for the well-known music teacher, Professor Dr. Hans Günther Bastian.
