  The videos above are the first piece from each concert.Full concert report and videos at: 2016Nürnberg70th On Saturday 3rd December, the Nürnberger Akkordeonorchester celebrated its 70th Anniversary with two exciting concerts on the same evening. The beginning concert was for fans of new-contemporary music where the Nürnberger Akkordeonorchester conducted by Stefan Hippe performed 4 world premieres for accordion orchestra. The second concert being a magnificent Tchaikovsky Concert which elicited several encores from the capacity audience. Also featured in this concert was the Nürnberger Akkordeon-Ensemble (leader Marco Röttig). Along with DHV President Jochen Hausmann and honored guest, the renowned German composer, conductor and former Coupe Mondiale World Champion Fritz Dobler, there were many other important German and international attendees (including CIA Executive) enjoying this musical event. Two major concerts in one evening, with 4 premieres from different countries, says a lot about the musical depth of the Nürnberger Akkordeonorchester players and leadership.
