New Accordion Method ‘Le Petit Accordéoniste’ – Franceby Rob Howard |
 A new tuition method for accordion aimed at younger learners who have been studying for a couple of years, ‘Le Petit Accordéoniste’, by Guillaume Hodeau, was published in France on September 26th. The book, written in French, includes guidance for studying both the stradella and free bass systems. Guillaume Hodeau is Professor of Accordion at the Conservatories of Cergy Pontoise and Evreux. He has studied in both France and the USA, and is a member of the Caliente Quartet, a Paris ensemble that specializes in tango, especially the music of Astor Piazzolla.
