  Happy World Accordion Day to all accordionists and enthusiasts. May 6th is the official birthday of the accordion. There are many accordion concerts and events throughout the world to celebrate our special day. We invite you to go to the World Accordion Day page, 2022 Reports, and view all of the activities and see the links to online concerts and festival events. We have reports from a number of countries online now with more arriving in the coming days. The Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) is pleased to welcome you to World Accordion Day. Since 2009, each May 6th, the CIA has been promoting World Accordion Day.
