Accordi 2021 Concerts at Otranto Castle – Italyby Christine Johnstone |

 The Accordi 2021 initiative will take place at Otranto Castle (picture left) in Lecce, Italy from August 20th to 22nd, 2021 which will include three concerts, each beginning at 9.30pm.The first concert will feature Duo Folksongs, which includes Francesco Palazzo (accordion) and Tiziana Portoghese (vocals) on August 20th. On August 21st, Renzo Ruggieri will perform and on August 22nd, Eugenia Cherkazova will give her concert. The event will also launch a new opportunity not only for young accordionists, but for all the free reed instrumentalists (organetto, bandoneon, harmonium, etc) to attend the event and gain the opportunity to win prizes.
